TEAM SCRAMBLE LOW GROSS
Scramble Format - 4 players per team (foursome)
Teams will complete each hole in the hole (no gimmies) - competing for a LOW GROSS over-all score for the day.
Sponsor prize will be awarded to each player on the winning team *Tie breakers for this contest to be determined by putting shootout elimination.
HOLE-IN-ONE and CLOSEST-TO-THE-PIN CONTESTS
Each individual player will start each hole with one shot only (no do overs, no mulligans). On 9 select holes PLAY TO WIN the $10,000 Hole In One prize. On the other 9 holes PLAY TO WIN the CLOSEST-TO-THE-PIN prize and advance to the Big Money Shootout round. *Tie breakers for this contest to be determined by shootout elimination.
BIG MONEY SHOOTOUT ROUND
A CHANCE TO WIN $100,000 Immediately following the round of golf, players will witness the main event, OttawaGolf.com Big Money Shootout. 20 players in total will compete taking one shot each - one closest to pin winner will advance to the BIG MONEY SHOOTOUT final and take one shot to PLAY TO WIN $100,000 Hole In One prize. *Tie breakers for this contest to be determined by shootout elimination.
HOW THE 20 PLAYERS ARE DETERMINED
9 players advance by winning Closest-To-Pin competition on 9 select holes in the 18 Hole Shootout - see scorecard at bottom.
9 players will be selected from the entire field by random draw.
2 players will be drawn at random from the Team Captain's draw.
IMPORTANT CONTEST NOTE: By any means including random draw or Closest to Pin, players can advance to the Big Money Shootout round one time only for one shot only, no exceptions. To calrify, players awarded Closest To Pin can win multiple prizes but can only advance to the Big Money Shootout round once. As a result, another name will be drawn.
DRIVING RANGE CONTEST *To Be Determined
On tournament day prior to the round of golf, players can opt-in to enter the Driving Range Contest (TBD) - with a sponsor prize for each winner.
$10,000 PUTTING SHOOTOUT (Putting Contest) *To Be Determined
On tournament day, during the round of golf, players can opt-in to enter the Putting Shootout - competing to qualify to take the 60 foot putt, a shot at the $10,000 hole in one prize. Shootout finalist wins a fabulous sponsor prize.
